A very irate Iroh would like to have a serious word with Dante Basco and Bryke, it seems.
Despite being promised yet denied the presence of this dashing general, LoK Book 3’s finale was epic beyond proportions. The emotional stake was that much higher than Book 2 and it was so wonderful to see how far all the characters had come. One of my favourite bits was Su and Lin’s sisterly moment before taking down P’li. And of course, Jinora getting her tattoos, Bolin lavabending and all the airbenders working together as one.
In any case, I was disappointed Iroh was a no-show. However, it seems he’ll have at least a small role in Book 4, if not more, so this fangirl is content to wait.
And even though I sketch this man far too much, it gave me some great anatomy and expression practice. So hooray for that.
"Grandfather, I thought you were a Pai Sho master!"
screw the heartache and tears the finale will inevitably bring seriously just no
just give me uncle iroh, general iroh and fatherlord zuko having family funtimes in the spirit world okay
is that too much to ask bryke
Okay, this has been on the backburner for freaking months and the colours were basically throwing a hissy fit, so I had to revert to mishmashed tones and lines and stuff. After realising the finale was so close I figured if I didn’t do anything with it now, it would never see the light of day. There are probably mistakes everywhere, but that’s okay… I’ll fix them tomorrow… [and ignore that Pai Sho table I literally just threw tiles on there randomly and ran away…]
seriously i just want my three babies interacting together…hnnnnng
Also, yes, this is indeed a Pai Showdown. Get your act together, Zuko!
look I made a thing and it took me under two hours
Anyway, got home from SMASH today, and felt super motivated by all the awesome art I saw and the sunset that waved me goodbye on the ride home.
Bashed this together in about two hours and messed with colour. It features a species I call the Mystic Fox, who scour the world for knowledge. And yes, this came long before I heard of Wan Shi Tong’s spirit library. =w=
Anyway, explored some themes of self-discovery and the endless limit of obtainable knowledge as compared to billions of stars in the sky.
Here’s a birthday sketch I did for the awesome, kickass heyspacekid last weekend. Seriously one of my favourite artists - it was so awesome to draw his awesome foxy fursona!
Here, have some original crap I sketched today.
Jayce the adorkable loser who got caught staring at a girl. Reference here.

Fan Fic: The Dancing Dragon, Mark II [Part 1/2]
help guys I started writing again someone stop me
Genre: Family, fantasy
Length: 1617 words
Characters: Iroh II, Zuko
Summary: A young Iroh II learns some very important lessons from his knowledgeable grandfather. Many years later, he reflects on these truths before facing the greatest firebending masters of the age. No pairings.
Click here to read this on FanFiction.net!
Also, this story is largely based off an artwork I did with the same name: The Dancing Dragon, Mark II
Disclaimer: All content therein is completely owned by Bryke & Nickelodeon. I merely had some fun with the characters c:
“Grandpa, grandpa! Do that again!”
With his arms as wings and his voice a ferocious growl, Fire Lord Zuko threw his head back and roared. A golden fireball erupted from his lungs, billowing dangerously close to the carved ceiling.
Finally sketching some stuff after three weeks of art blocks and drawing breaks.
First one is me mucking about in Photoshop, loosely replicating a photo and playing with textures, colours and stuff. I’m trying to loosen up and get away from really rigid painting.
Second one is oh-so-predictable Iroh II sketching. But this is actually part of a much larger, feels-laden piece which will surface within a week with any luck. I tried a lot harder to get his facials right this time, but there’ll be tweaks… oh, will there be tweaks…
More coming soon.
EDIT: Tweaked Iroh II. How surprising. OTL.
“Love this photo with the avatar cosplay guys. My favorite pic so far.”

This was, by far, one of the best images from my Oz Comic Con experience. Myself and my dear friends were preparing for a group photo with Dante Basco [rufiozuko], with the other voice actors looking on. At the last minute, Olivia jumps right in, basically making our entire weekend. And, to boot, we all made it on her Instagram! Both she and Dante were so gorgeous and lovely that weekend… :D

Here’s one more awesome Avatar Oz Comic Con memory!
"Somewhere out there, there’s this tree with star-shaped fruit - and the fruit represents an unbreakable connection. So as long as you and your friends carry good luck charms shaped like it, nothing can ever drive you apart. You will always find your way back to each other."
Here’s one for the Kingdom Hearts fans. I had the pleasure of meeting Jason Dohring, the voice actor for Terra, at Melbourne Oz Comic Con this past weekend. Despite being unable to wear my Aqua cosplay at the time, I figured the wayfinders were a nice touch（人´∀`*）
"I’m going with Zuko!"
So, I went to Melbourne Oz Comic Con last weekend, and this happened…
Also, a special shout-out to rufiozuko for being so lovely and honourable about it!
